North Star Steering Committee Endorses April 5th National Day of Action

Although  there were fewer responses to the recent survey of NS members than the SC had hoped for, the results are clear:

1. Should NS continue as a caucus -  yes
2. Should NS be involved in the resistance – yes
3. Should NS push DSA as a whole to become involved in the resistance – yes.

 
In response to these results, the North Star Steering Committee, at their March meeting, discussed the importance of working with an existing coalition, currently led by Indivisibles, but with widespread national support.
 
The Steering Committee took the following actions/.  .:

1. NS endorses the National Day of Action scheduled for April 5th; and
2. NS will urge that the NPC also endorse the April 5th Day of Action and will urge other caucuses to also endorse the April 5th action.    

 
The April 5th National Day of Action is a mobilization against the Musk/Trump political and economic attack on all of us.  Please join – or help organize – one of the many events near you.
